Fangs and Fennel by Shannon Mayer

I have just finished reading it, and as with the first one, had a blast with it! I don’t know if i’m the only one, but I’m team Happy! is that bad? can’t wait for the next book to come out… and eagerly waiting for it!

PS… I have Fennel in my garden, and you hit the description spot on!

Magic of the Gargoyles by Rebecca Chastain

I loved this book. My only complaint is it wasnt longer.

I have read the other books that Ms Chastain has written and enjoyed them as well.

This is a great little read, and does not end in a cliff hanger, but does leave you wanting more.

It is also on unlimited… so always a great little bonus!

Author Interviews and book releases!

I am now opening spaces on my blog for author interviews and book releases!  would you like to showcase on my blog? if so drop me a line and let me know. You can message me here, on Facebook or by email at

I am open to all Genres and as long as they don’t contain any of the icky stuff… you know what I mean.. no kiddie sex, no animal sex… shifted sex is ok… lets keep it kinky.  No necro sex.. unless it’s a vamp.  I do not want to be reading about humping dead bodies…ewww.. the fluids.

Other than the obvious… get in touch.. and let me know!

Starlight by Adrienne Woods

Le’sighs.  This is the last book in the series and I hated to see it end. But it did end very well. There is also a bit at the end for another book, that I want to read.

Blake and Elena do get their HEA… but there are so many bumps in the road.

FYI, this is a long book, so unless you have a lot of spare time, or can forgo sleep then expect it to take you a few days.

There were places that I dragged my feet, but I think it was because I knew this was the end.  Then it sped up and went too fast and I was … WTH… this can’t be the last page already. I’m not ready… I need more…. Then you get the tease about a great great great great-grandson.. and Im like… give me!

This is a great series. I def. recommend it.

Owl and the City of Angels by Kristi Charish

Have just finished reading this… and damn it, the next one is not out yet.  There is a word in the book that I need to know the meaning of.

Other than that, I really like this series. This is book two of Alix’s adventure and well worth a read.

I have no idea when book three is out.. but I hope its soon.

A solid 4 stars!

Dead in the Water by Hailey Edwards

Well, the blurb is as follows

Gemini, Book 1

Camille Ellis is the Earthen Conclave’s golden girl. Her peculiar talent solves cases with a touch. She isn’t afraid of getting her hands dirty, but every bright star casts a shadow, and her deepest scars lurk just beneath the skin.

A routine consultation goes sideways when a victim’s brother gets involved in the investigation. Riding the edge of grief, the warg will go to any lengths to avenge his sister’s death. Even if it means ensuring Cam’s cooperation at the jaws of his wolf.

When the killer strikes again, Cam is caught between a warg and a hard place. To save the next victim, she must embrace her past. Even if it means dragging her darkest secrets into the light of day.

my take on it…

I liked it… read it in a day… and then went for the next one.. but damn it.. not out yet.. but not far away.. so its on my to read list.

A good 4 stars.

I do like the Wargs… a nice change to your werewolves.

Again, this one is on unlimited!

R. Lee Smith

Sometimes you stumble across an author that is so far beyond your normal comfort zone, that you actually shy away from reading their book.

Sometimes, once you begin, you can not stop.

Smith, is one of these mysterious and wonderfully dangerous writers.  The books are all things taboo… from rape, to interspecies sex, and every freaking that that can go horribly wrong in the heroine/heros life can and does.

However, you will be drawn in, you will have every emotion, oft ones you did not expect to experianced pulled from the depths of your heart.

It feels as if the author is there, plucking each string of your heart one by one, tugging you deeper into their world.

There are Epics… and R. Lee Smith is a creator of these.

These works, while not for the faint of heart. sqeamish, or easily offended… are at the end of the day, a Masterpiece.

Thank you R. Lee Smith to your contributions to the written word and the world of story telling.

I have added a link to the amazon page, so that you can check out the work for yourself. Please do so, stretch your limits.
